Fantastic apartment, clean and very well equipped, with awesome hosts. It’s a perfect choice if you wish to be among locals. Localization, near the Plaça d’Espanya, makes the place ideal for exploring the city. The bus stop is across the street. The subway is one street away. All you need is at your fingertips. Supermarkets, parks, restaurants and cafes. The street outside is noisy, but during weekends it is closed, so you can even forget you are still in the crowded Barcelona 🙂 We stayed there in September and we highly recommend that month. In September Barcelona celebrates the Merce festival which ends with a pyrotechnic show on the Plaça d’Espanya. What’s more, the weekend after the Merce24 ends, the Hostafrances area (where the apartment is located) turns into a street festival with a variety of food, clothes, and handicrafts.
