What is your cancellation policy?

For Short Term Bookings (up to 14 days): Cancellation within 48 hours of booking will result in a refund of the total rental accommodation rate as well as all fees aside from the credit card processing fee, as long as the guest cancels at least 14 days before check-in (time shown in the confirmation email). After that, guests can cancel up to 14 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate, and all cleaning fees, but not the administrative or credit card processing fee.

For Long Term Bookings (28 days+): Cancellation within 48 hours of booking will result in a refund of the total rental accommodation rate as well as all fees aside from the credit card processing fee, as long as the cancellation occurs at least 28 days before check-in (3:00 PM in the destination’s local time if not specified. More than 48 hours after booking, guests can cancel before check-in and get a full refund, minus the first 30 days and the administrative and credit card processing fee.

If the guest cancels the reservation during their stay, the guest must confirm their new check-out date and share the reason for their reservation modification. Regardless of the checkout date chosen, the guest is required to pay for the 30 days following the cancellation date, or up to the end date of the guest’s original reservation if the remaining portion is less than 30 days.

Do I have to pay the Tourist Tax?

 The government of Cataluñya imposes a tourist tax of €6.05 to be paid by every person over 16 per night with a maximum length of 7 days. The tax is a small price to pay in exchange for clean beaches, well-maintained roads, and good facilities.

When can I get access to the apartment?

Check-in time is from 3 PM onwards.

If your flight arrives before the check-in time, we typically recommend storing your luggage at the luggage storage place located at Carrer Estruc 36, near Plaza Catalunya. This will allow you to enjoy the city until the apartment is ready for you.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

As is the case with any type of rental we also request a security deposit which is wholly refundable.

This can vary between 200 and 500 euros depending on the apartment booked.

Do you provide towels and linens?

Yes, we provide fresh towels and linens for each stay based on the number of beds available and the maximum occupancy of the vacation rental.

What other items will be provided during our stay?

We provide toiletries including hand soap, body wash, shampoo, pantry basics, sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil; paper goods including an allocation of paper towels and toilet paper and a Welcome Gift with each stay.

Where can I park my car?

We typically recommend booking a parking place on the web page of You can put in the address of the apartment, and it will give all available options around. If you make the booking online, you will get a better price than going to make the booking in person.

What can I do in Barcelona?

All of our flats are ready with custom-created digital Guidebooks that include all of our personal recommendations of Barcelona as well as many suggestions for activities and other useful information that you might need during your stay.

What is included in a property rental?

Complete access to the property, which we certify as a Fridays Flats home. This rental includes 24/7 Guest Support prior to booking, help planning your stay as well as assistance while you’re onsite at the property and post-stay follow up to ensure your satisfaction.

We provide intensive housekeeping protocols to ensure that the property is properly cleaned and disinfected prior to each reservation.

We stock toiletries, pantry basics and a Welcome Gift with each stay. 

And, our staff of Guest Support experts and Maintenance Technicians are available to help support your stay and troubleshoot any issues you might have so you can focus on enjoying time with your friends and family.

What is your pet policy?

Many of our homes are dog friendly! Please be sure to tell our Guest Support team at the time of booking that you’d like to bring a pet so that they can add the 35 euros non-refundable pet fee to your reservation.

When and how do I receive my check-in instructions and access details?

Check-in details are sent via email or platform message 72 hours prior to your check-in. If you have any questions related to these instructions prior to receipt of the details please contact our Guest Support team.

Can I check in early/ check out late?

We require advance permission for early check-ins and late check-outs due to planning and scheduling of our cleaning and field crews, please contact us for details. 

Standard check-in time is as of 3 PM and standard check-out time is at 11 AM.

Early check-in/late check-out requests may be accommodated in advance for a minimal fee (if available). The fee allows us the ability to block off the night prior/following and add additional cleaners if necessary.

Why do you need my ID, and when and how do I submit it?

The Barcelona City Hall requires that we collect and verify a valid ID of each guest that is part of the booking. We need to submit these to local authorities within 24 hours of check-in time, so it’s vital that we collect the information at check-in time or before.
