The heart of the flat is its fully equipped open kitchen with an island, leading into a cosy little seating area and then onto a sweet balcony. With FREE WIFI and a latest generation flat-screen TV you have all you need for entertainment, so much so that you’ll ponder if it’s more comfortable to stay inside than to go outside. Of course, the outside will always win, this IS Barcelona after all.

Whether it’s the up-to-date design of the kitchen, both functional and bright, or the living / dining / planning or “whatever you choose to do” spaces, the cozy bathroom or such details as the “volta catalana”, the perfectly preserved wooden beam ceiling, a local staple - we don’t know what makes this place so charming, but it really is.

The resting area, consisting of 2 double beds (1 in the master bedroom, and another double bed closer to the living space).The flat is equipped with everything you need, from cutlery, sheets, towels, to an oven, fridge, or microwave grill. All up and ready for you to come and enjoy it!
We chose neutral colors for the flat’s design, in order to give the incredible amount of natural light available the possibility to shine. ✨ Literally!

Wake in a luminous, chic and ideally located flat, surrounded by the magic of Barcelona. We’ve redecorated this property to perfectly fit its quirky surroundings. Enjoy the city’s bohemian energy in this ultra-sunny 2 bedroom charmer of a flat, that has its own balcony. Basking in the colorful heart of an area, full of bars, clubs, theatres and restaurants, this well equipped cutely decorated living space will embrace you, making you feel at home.

There is only one AC unit in the living room.

First of all, welcome to Barcelona. We’re happy to have you and we hope you have an amazing time staying in our flat. That being said, at the risk of being obvious, here are some basic ground rules: Be mindful We are not the police, nor do we want you to feel like we are patronizing; but we think it’s our duty to point out some common sense stuff, as we’ve had our experiences with not so well behaved guests in the past. Respect the neighbours. Put yourself in their shoes, and keep the noise down to a minimum after 10PM. You are on holiday, but they’re probably stressed about their jobs and would appreciate a good night’s sleep. We want you to have fun, but be reasonable and don’t do unto others what you wouldn’t like done to you. Pissing them off is only going to get you into trouble, and surely you don’t need that while you’re on holiday. No Parties! We get it, you’re excited about being in Barcelona. But remember, the walls are paper thin and if you’re having a party, so are the neighbours. And maybe they’re not in the mood for that. Don’t start a fight you can’t possibly win, it’s their city and we want to respect that. Any guest that causes a disturbance will be asked to leave the apartment immediately (no refund at all to be granted). Sorry! Also, watch out for slamming doors or hallways. Try to be quiet when entering the building, it’s not hard to be a good neighbour and we’re sure you can do it. Also, it is not allowed to have more guests than you indicate during your reservation. Keys & check-out Don’t leave the keys in the mailbox. If you leave earlier than check out time, please leave the keys on the table and pull the door behind you to shut it. Most flats have the type of door that doesn’t require you to lock when you leave. That’s something to watch out for, as it’s very easy to get locked outside (which is also a bummer, take our word for it). Make sure you lock the door with the key every time you leave the flat. That way your belongings stay safer. Don’t smoke inside NO smoking allowed in the apartment. We care about your lungs, but if you have to do it, please step outside. We’d like to keep the flat from smelling bad when our next guests arrive. Don’t waste energy We kindly ask you to please turn the lights and air conditioning units OFF whenever you leave the apartment. We care about our planet. Extra stuff Additional cleaning, bedding etc can be arranged for a longer stay - but you have to request this while booking. Tourist tax: The government of Cataluñya imposes a tourist tax of €5.5 to be paid by every person over 16 per night with a maximum length of 7 days. The tax is a small price to pay in exchange for clean beaches, well-maintained roads, and good facilities. Arrival Standard Check-in is from 15:00h to 20:00h. However, we can accommodate late arrivals as well. Please note the extra charges for late arrivals: Arrivals after 8PM have to pay €25 in cash to the person making the check in with you. Arrivals after 12PM have to pay €50 in cash to the person making the check in with yThese charges are due to late working hours of our staff. Departure Check-out time is by 11AM. Arrangements can be made to leave luggage in the apartment until the departure from Barcelona if no other reservations are pending. Note: if there is no booking for that day, talk to us about arranging a later check-out (if possible). Lost keys If you lose a key, there will be a charge of €60 to replace the set. Kind request On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage.

If you’re here for the city: Poble Sec lies sprawled at the bottom of Montjuic, a magnificent natural wonder, a hill that grows very close to the city center. The neighbourhood combines nature and city perfectly, as it has Barcelona’s most famous Pinchos Street (Carred Blai) at its heart, while bordering the famous singing fountain and the ultra-cool Apolo nightclub (plus Fira Montjuic, the Sonar by Day venue). Dali’s masterpieces (Casa Batlo, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia) are all just a few metro stops away. To get to Park Guell or the Monastery of Montserrat, talk to us about help with transport & entrance tickets. If you’re here for nature: Just to visit all the attractions of Montjuic could easily take you a week. Here you can find not one but two wondrous botanical gardens, one of them a cactus reservation (one of the most picture perfect natural wonders of Barcelona,) The Fundacio Miro, The Poble Espanyol, The Theatre Grec, Palau Sant Jordi or explore some of the former Olympic village attractions. Poble Sec borders the pittoresque nightlife full streets of Raval on the other side of Montjuic, and is close to Sant Antoni, where you should head in case you want to drink and have tapas with the local hipsters. If you’re here for the beach: You can walk to Barceloneta, our closest to the heart of the city beach, or reach any of the other ones via the Yellow Metro Line (L4). If you’re here for museums: Rest assured, neighbouring Raval is full of interesting cultural venues, like MACBA (for Contemporary Art) or the Catalan Cultural Center, plus some fun and interesting stuff for kids if you need to entertain them (Big Fun Museum and Museum of Illusions). If you’re here for shopping: Shop ‘til you drop! Or maybe not that much, but still, find local designers and cute boutique stores plus the big Corte Ingles within walking distance. If you’re looking for something more upscale, take the Green Metro Line (L3) directly to Passeig the Gracia / Rambla de Catalunya.

Easy access Thanks to its close to the city center location, this flat is easily reachable from the airport by train (20 minutes), shuttle bus (A1 or A2 in Plaça Espana taxi (if you want to enjoy the views) or metro (only 1 stop away from Poble Sec)

Travelling by car? If you are planning on driving to Barcelona, rest assured we’ll help you park your car safely. We typically recommend booking your parking spot ahead of time online, and offer a discount via parclick. Is this a work trip? Our apartments are equipped with reliable, fiber optic WI-FI and offer a very comfortable setup to work from home. The public transport options of this location are fantastic. Within 2 minutes’ walk you will find the metro station Parallel, served by two lines, line 2 (purple) and 3 (green). Line 2 will take you directly, without changing, to the Sagrada Familia. For Park Guell, you can take line 3, also without changing. For the Fair Congress (Fira) on the Plaza España you are only 2 metro stops away. On the Parallel avenue you will find many bus stops that will take you anywhere in the city. E.g. If you don’t prefer to walk to the beach, you can take a bus that will drop you at the beach in 10 minutes.
