Had a great stay at this bnb with my friends however there were a few things that could have been better. To try and cater to us which we appreciate, they had said the house would be ready for 12:00pm rather than 3pm to allow us to check in early. As me and my friends were eager to shower and change out of our clothes from travelling, we were unable to do so as there was a problem with the AC and all the electricity was off. And this lasted for a long time. Aswell as this, the bnb didn’t match the pictures. They have had a revamp of the property which, yes, was undoubtedly nicer. But it was more predominantly in the bathrooms. The layout of the house had completely changed. There was no BBQ in the garden, which for my group was the thing that enticed us to choose this house. Other than that we did have a great stay with not much to complain about.
Very homely and comfortable flat in a superb location. Everything’s pretty much within walking distance including amazing restaurants nearby. Beach is down the road and metro is about 15 minutes away. I felt at home in Andrei’s flat and really loved the large amounts of natural daylight you get from the large windows. As I stayed during December I was surprised how warm the flat is despite being quite cold outside at night. The flat is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. The shower is small, but this wasn’t a problem for me personally. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with everything you need to cook whatever you want. The WiFi is fast and reliable – excellent if you need to work remotely as I did. Andrei is a very caring and excellent host who checks in to make sure you’re doing ok and offers local suggestions to make your visit to Barcelona special to you. I’d happily stay here again.
We were very pleased with our stay! My friend arrived earlier than I did, but Andrei and his team were flexible with check-in and communicative with my friend. We found everything easily, and they checked in a few times during the visit to make sure all was well. We really enjoyed the apartment and the neighborhood. It was lively and felt comfortable. The location is not far, but it is not in the main tourist area (which we preferred). I would definitely recommend this airbnb to a friend ☺️
