Stayed at Sunny Retro Flat + Balcony in Poble Sec
The airbnb is in an up and coming neighborhood with a lot of locals and families about. It turned out to be one of our favorite neighborhoods in Barcelona. Its cute, friendly, filled with cafes and restaurants that we never would have found in a general online search but were top rated and worth multiple visits. Plenty of local things to discover in this walkable neighborhood and very close to late night food options as well as the Gothic quarter. We would stay in this neighborhood again, but not at this airbnb. The place was dingy and needs a serious update on furniture, linens, and the ac unit-which smelled of mold. The space felt smaller than advertised with little to no natural light. This was unfortunate because of the price and would not recommend booking if you want a comfy cozy space to hang out after a long day. Host was very kind and super accommodating enough to offer a late checkout due to flights but cannot recommend this airbnb, unfortunately.

Stayed at 55m² Monthly Base w/ Terrace + AC
Great stay overall. The apartment had a really nice view from the window. The only thing to keep in mind is that the neighborhood is on a hill, so you should be prepared to walk up and down quite a bit. Other than that, everything was comfortable and enjoyable.
