Great stay overall! The location was excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions, and the neighborhood was quiet with grocery stores, bakeries, and shops nearby. The AC worked perfectly despite the heat, and Mario and the host were very responsive and gave us great recommendations. The apartment looked a bit older than in the photos and could use a fresh coat of paint, but it was clean and comfortable. We chose it for the convenience rather than luxury, and since we were out exploring most of the day, it was a great choice.
The good: incredible hosts. If I could grade the hosts alone they’d get a 10 out of 5. They sent so much information ahead of time including local bars and restaurants, helped with any questions we had. The bad: we specifically rented this place because it had laundry. We figured the amenity was part of the price. But upon checking in I was given incredibly complicated instructions including turning the water supply on & off at the source, and then told that the washer wouldn’t spin the clothes very well so they’d likely be soaking wet after the cycle, and there is no dryer. So effectively you can’t use it unless you want to be a laundress and wring out your clothes yourself. The paid laundromat half a block away has good washers & dryers – but we wouldn’t have selected this apartment if we had known about this washer. Also, READ CAREFULLY: this is NOT a three bedroom apartment. It’s a two bedroom apartment, with a completely separate studio unit upstairs.

This is a great Airbnb in a prime location in Barcelona. My friends and I loved staying here and we especially enjoyed the terrace. The apartment is within walking distance to practically everything in Barcelona. Mario was lovely and helpful and generous with his time and recommendations. There was however a lack of amenities e.g. toilet paper (we had to buy more) and only two beach towels when the apartment houses four. Another thing is the lift which is prone to breaking down once in a while – be prepared to walk up 8 flights of stairs on the off chance it stops/if you have a fear of lifts! Overall we had a great time in Barcelona and we would definitely stay at Andrei and Alina’s apartment next time we visit!!
L’accueil a été impeccable malgré une arrivée tardive. L’hôte est très réactif nous a donné pas mal de conseils et recommandations . Prise de clé rapide instructions claires. Appartement propre et très bien placé, néanmoins il faut grimper 4 étages pour y accéder donc il ne faut rien oublier en sortant. L’autre bémol et que l’une des 2 chambres est moins bien climatisée. Globalement une bonne expérience conforme à nos attentes.
