Perfect location! In the centre of Poblenou, so you’re close to everything you need and it’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable space. Andrei was friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Greeted by Mario (the key holder). Mario was super friendly and thoroughly explained everything you needed to know about the flat and the neighbourhood. It was like having your own tour guide with plenty of tips and suggestions. Awesome guy!
Many shops and cafes nearby. Metro just down the street. La Rambla is within walking distance. Mario met us and gave us many recommendations.
The main place we wanted to visit was the Sagrada Família. It was amazing to have a view of it from around the corner of the balcony. It was extremely easy to get there from Andrei and Alina’s flat. The doorman in the building was amazing! Seriously, I have never met a doorman at an AirBnB who was so welcoming, helpful, and kind to people that are clearly guests and don’t live in the building. The place was very spacious and everything my family of four needed for the trip.
This is a great apartment and even though it is right in the centre of so many things, the street itself is relatively quiet. However walk around any number of corners and there is lots going on. Mario was our “on the ground” contact once we were booked and he was spectacular! He communicated clearly, completely and knowledgeably and was available by message within minutes when we had questions. The spacious rooftop terrace is fantastic. Beautiful sky and skyline, a comfortable place to sit and a wonderful spot to do yoga in the morning. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there are lots of good places to shop for food in the area. The queen size bed was comfortable. The elevator worked well even though we were on the top floor of the building. Highly recommended!
