Dali’s masterpieces (Casa Batlo, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia) are all just a few metro stops away. If you’re here for nature: Just to visit all the attractions of Montjuic could easily take you a week. Here you can find not one but two wondrous botanical gardens, one of them a cactus reservation (one of the most picture perfect natural wonders of Barcelona,) The Fundacio Miro, The Poble Espanyol, The Theatre Grec, Palau Sant Jordi or explore some of the former Olympic village attractions. If you’re here for the beach: You can walk to Barceloneta, our closest to the heart of the city beach, or reach any of the other ones via the Yellow Metro Line (L4). If you’re here for museums: Rest assured, neighbouring Raval is full of interesting cultural venues, like MACBA (for Contemporary Art) or the Catalan Cultural Center, plus some fun and interesting stuff for kids if you need to entertain them (Big Fun Museum and Museum of Illusions). If you’re here for shopping: Shop ‘til you drop! Or maybe not that much, but still, find local designers and cute boutique stores plus the big Corte Ingles within walking distance. If you’re looking for something more upscale, take the Green Metro Line (L3) directly to Passeig the Gracia / Rambla de Catalunya.

Within 2 minutes’ walk you will find the metro station Parallel, served by two lines, line 2 (purple) and 3 (green). Line 2 will take you directly, without changing, to the Sagrada Familia. For Park Guell, you can take line 3, also without changing. For the Fair Congress (Fira) on the Plaza España you are only 2 metro stops away. On the Parallel avenue you will find many bus stops that will take you anywhere in the city. E.g. If you don’t prefer to walk to the beach, you can take a bus that will drop you at the beach in 10 minutes.
