How to get to the villa from Barcelona by public transport
The easiest and most convenient way is:
Take the Rodalies R2 South train from Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia or El Clot to Gavà Station.
Outside Gavà station, take the Bus 902 towards Begues.
Get off at the Ferran Muñoz – Bosc stop.
From there, it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the villa.
🕒 The bus runs approximately every 20–30 minutes and operates until around 11:00 PM.
🎫 Good news! If you have a Zone 1 ATM transport ticket (T-usual, T-casual, etc.), this journey is included.

The space

Step through the grand stone staircase entrance into a home that genuinely surprises. The ground floor opens into a wide entrance hall with sofas and armchairs, flowing into two separate living areas: a bright main lounge with caramel leather sofas, marble floors and garden-facing French doors, and a more intimate reading room with an electric fireplace — perfect for evenings in after a day at the beach or on the trails.

The formal dining room seats 14 at a single table, with additional seating for 8 more if needed, and connects directly to a large fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer — everything you need for a proper group stay.

Outdoors

The outdoor space is the heart of the property. A large manicured lawn wraps around the kidney-shaped pool, flanked by decades-old olive trees and tall cypresses. The covered outdoor kitchen and BBQ area — with its timber pergola, professional gas grill, marble-topped bar counter, chest freezer and bar stools — is built for long, slow lunches that stretch into evenings. A set of natural log stools and a glass-topped tree-stump table sit at the poolside for al-fresco meals or morning coffee. Multiple terrace areas with loungers, rattan furniture and a garden swing complete the outdoor living setup.

Location

Begues is a quiet, well-kept residential village sitting right inside Garraf Natural Park — the kind of place that feels far from everything while actually being very close. From the house, you can walk directly into park trails or be in central Barcelona in under 40 minutes by car.

What’s close:

Garraf Natural Park — on the doorstep. Classic hiking routes including Montau, La Morella and Les Agulles with panoramic views over the coast, Llobregat Delta and surrounding hills. Great for trail running, cycling and birdwatching.
Castelldefels Beach — 14 km / ~18 min. Nearly 8 km of wide sandy Mediterranean beach, very popular with Barcelonins and much less crowded than city beaches.
Sitges — 31 km / ~30 min. One of Catalonia’s most charming coastal towns: beautiful old quarter, excellent restaurants, festivals and a great nightlife scene.
Barcelona — 30 km / ~38 min. The city is genuinely reachable for a day or evening out and then back to the calm of Begues.
Penedès wine and cava region — 30–40 min. Home to dozens of wineries and cava cellars open for visits and tastings. Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the Capital of Cava, is a short drive away.
Can Sadurní Cave, Begues — local. A prehistoric cave in Begues with evidence of beer production dated to around 4300 BC — reputedly the oldest beer in Europe. Cultural visits available with prior booking.
Gavà Mines Archaeological Park — ~20 min. Prehistoric mines with on-site museum, audiovisuals and archaeological remains; great for families.
Eramprunyà Castle — ~15 min. Medieval ruins perched dramatically in the Garraf hills, accessible via a scenic hike with coastal views.
Palau Novella / Garraf Buddhist Monastery — ~20 min. A Modernist mansion inside Garraf Park now housing a Buddhist monastery; guided cultural and spiritual visits available.
